Majesty 145 Debuts

Gulf Craft’s Majesty Yachts has launched the first hull of its new Majesty 145 series, marking an important expansion in the competitive 40-metre-plus luxury yacht segment. The vessel, named Suzie Q, entered the water roughly one year after the contract was signed, underlining an unusually fast build timeline for a yacht of this size. (Megayacht News)

The debut reflects growing demand among ultra-high-net-worth buyers for semi-custom yachts that combine faster delivery schedules with customization options normally associated with fully bespoke builds. Industry analysts say shorter construction cycles have become a key selling point as wealthy clients seek quicker access to private leisure assets. (Megayacht News)

At approximately 45 metres in length, the Majesty 145 offers accommodation for 12 guests across six cabins — an uncommon layout in this category, where five-cabin designs are more typical. The owner’s suite is positioned on the main deck, while guest cabins occupy much of the lower deck. (Megayacht News)

The yacht also includes multiple outdoor entertainment areas, dual infinity-style pools, a gym and wellness-focused amenities such as an infrared sauna. Interior styling was developed in collaboration with Italian studio Cristiano Gatto Design alongside the shipyard’s in-house team. (Megayacht News)

For Gulf Craft, the launch strengthens its broader premium lineup between the existing Majesty 175 series and the upcoming Majesty 160, which is expected later this year. The company has been expanding its presence in Europe and Asia as Middle Eastern yacht builders seek a larger share of the global luxury marine market. (Megayacht News)

The wider yacht market has remained resilient despite macroeconomic uncertainty, supported by sustained wealth creation among high-net-worth individuals and continued appetite for experiential luxury assets. Brokerage experts note that newer, fuel-efficient and semi-custom models are attracting the strongest interest.

Delivery of Suzie Q is expected in coming weeks, with potential showcase appearances later this year at Monaco Yacht Show or Dubai’s rescheduled boat show, according to industry reports. (Megayacht News)
