myXRP.fi has opened public access to its digital-asset infrastructure on the Flare network after recording approximately 8.1 million XRP across three professional participants during its closed institutional phase. The launch marks a new step in the platform’s effort to connect XRP-related assets with decentralised finance applications and multi-chain digital-asset services.
The project reported a combined institutional position of 8,099,291.67 XRP before opening access more broadly. The figure represents the platform’s reported initial institutional participation, rather than independently verified evidence of future user demand or commercial success.
Two routes into the platform
The platform describes two separate access routes. Its on-chain bridge is designed for holders of official FXRP on Flare. Users lock FXRP through the bridge and receive myXRP at a stated 1:1 ratio.
A separate custodial service supports XRP, Bitcoin, Ether, stablecoins and more than 200 listed digital assets across 25 network environments, according to the project. The two systems operate under different arrangements, so users should not assume that the custodial service has the same structure or protections as the on-chain bridge.
The distinction between the tokens is particularly important. myXRP is not XRP and is not affiliated with Ripple. It is a separate receipt token associated with the platform’s infrastructure. Its practical value depends on the underlying arrangements, the ability to redeem assets and the operational reliability of the service.
Security and oversight questions
myXRP.fi says its bridge has undergone an independent technical review by Comply Security. It also references six supplementary AI-assisted analyses. Such reviews can provide useful information, but AI-assisted analysis should not be treated as equivalent to a comprehensive independent security audit.
The project identifies Top Value (BVI) AM Limited as its operator and refers to the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission’s register. Users should independently verify the entity’s current status, the exact activities authorised and whether those permissions apply to the services they intend to use. Registration or authorisation in one jurisdiction does not automatically mean the platform is regulated throughout the European Union.
XRPFi faces a broader test
The launch comes as decentralised finance platforms seek to make digital assets usable for lending, trading, staking and other on-chain activities. Flare’s FXRP infrastructure is designed to bring XRP exposure into programmable applications, potentially allowing holders to access services beyond simply holding the asset.
However, access to more networks and assets also introduces risks. Smart-contract vulnerabilities, custody arrangements, liquidity constraints, operational failures and redemption limitations can all affect users. The reported institutional participation does not eliminate those risks or guarantee returns.
The key test for myXRP.fi will be whether it can demonstrate reliable operations, transparent asset accounting and dependable redemption as public usage expands. For XRP holders, the opportunity is access to a wider range of financial applications; the trade-off is taking on additional platform and counterparty risks that require careful review.
