Omega’s Bond Seamasters

Omega has introduced a new Seamaster Diver 300M collection bringing together James Bond and his fictional adversary SPECTRE. Launched in October 2026, the release combines cinematic heritage, familiar dive-watch engineering and limited collector editions.

◉ Two sides of Bond: The collection introduces dedicated James Bond and SPECTRE designs for the first time.

◉ Six watches, four core designs: Two steel models are sold individually, while two collector sets pair steel and platinum-gold watches.

◉ Limited availability: Each collector set is restricted to 77 numbered sets, with prices reflecting the premium materials and bundled accessories.

A New Chapter for the Seamaster

For more than three decades, Omega and James Bond have maintained one of the watch industry’s most recognisable cinematic partnerships. Since the Seamaster appeared in GoldenEye in 1995, the association has helped connect the professional dive watch with a broader audience beyond traditional watch enthusiasts.

The October 2026 collection takes that relationship in a new direction. For the first time, Omega places Bond and SPECTRE together in one Seamaster Diver 300M release, turning the contrast between secret agent and fictional organisation into a design theme.

Rather than creating an entirely new watch architecture, Omega builds on the established 42 mm Diver 300M platform and differentiates the models through their dials, bezels, movement rotors and presentation.

Blue for Bond, Black for SPECTRE

The standard James Bond edition, reference 210.30.42.20.03.004, combines a blue aluminium dial with a laser-engraved wave pattern and a Grade 5 titanium bezel ring. Its brushed mesh bracelet reinforces the tool-watch character.

The SPECTRE edition, reference 210.30.42.20.01.023, adopts a darker appearance. A black ceramic bezel ring and grained black dial give the watch a more restrained, tactical aesthetic. Both models carry their respective identity on the movement rotor: a gun-barrel motif for Bond and a SPECTRE emblem for the opposing side.

The technical foundation remains shared. Each watch is powered by Omega’s automatic Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, with a 55-hour power reserve, magnetic resistance up to 15,000 gauss and water resistance to 300 metres. The movement is a no-date configuration, keeping the dial focused on timekeeping and the collection’s visual details.

Collector Sets in Platinum-Gold

Beyond the two individually available steel models, Omega has created two limited-edition sets. Each combines a stainless-steel watch with a more elaborate platinum-gold version, with the sets limited to 77 numbered examples apiece.

The platinum-gold Bond model features an 18K white-gold dial with a blue gradient and gun-barrel pattern. The SPECTRE counterpart uses a dark-grey gradient dial with an octopus motif. Both incorporate ceramic bezels with diving scales executed in platinum, alongside gold detailing on the movement rotor.

The sets also include a dedicated presentation box and accessories such as an additional NATO strap, strap-changing tool, cufflinks, cord bracelet, loupe, travel pouch and card holder. These additions position the sets as collector packages rather than simply more expensive versions of the steel watches.

Pricing and Market Position

At launch, the individual steel editions were listed at approximately €8,500, while each limited-edition set was listed at approximately €89,300 in Europe. Prices vary by market and tax treatment, and availability should be confirmed with Omega or an authorised retailer.

The price gap reflects more than the change in materials. The platinum-gold models are sold only as part of the numbered sets, which also bundle accessories and exclusive presentation. For collectors, the central distinction is between an everyday luxury dive watch and a limited franchise-themed package.

Beyond the Film Connection

The Seamaster’s Bond association remains a powerful part of its identity, but the collection also demonstrates how established watch platforms can be refreshed through colour, finishing and narrative. The blue and black models share the same core engineering while addressing different visual preferences.

The limited sets add a scarcity element, though production limits alone do not establish future resale performance. Their longer-term significance will depend on collector demand, market availability and the continued appeal of the Bond partnership.

For Omega, the release extends a decades-long relationship while giving SPECTRE, for the first time, an explicit place within the Seamaster’s Bond-themed watch story.
