A New Flagship Takes Shape

Sunseeker has launched the first hull of its Manhattan 94 motor yacht, marking a major milestone ahead of the model’s global debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2026.

Previously announced as the 94 Yacht, the 28.6-metre Manhattan 94 is designed for owners who want the space and comfort of a larger yacht without losing the performance expected from a modern Sunseeker.

The first vessel has entered its testing programme, while construction of a second hull has already begun. That second yacht has also been sold, providing an early indication of customer interest before the model’s public launch.

Space Designed Around Entertaining

The Manhattan 94’s defining feature is its main-deck layout. A full-beam owner’s suite sits forward, while the main saloon combines large windows, an open-plan living area and a dining space designed to accommodate up to ten guests.

The layout reflects a wider trend in the premium motor-yacht market: buyers increasingly expect their yachts to function as floating residences, with the flexibility to host family and friends while maintaining private areas for owners.

Four additional guest cabins occupy the lower deck, allowing the yacht to accommodate up to ten guests. The arrangement separates the owner’s accommodation from the main guest areas while retaining generous social spaces.

The exterior design extends the entertaining concept across several decks. The flybridge provides space for dining and relaxation, while the foredeck offers separate seating areas and a large sunpad.

At the stern, Sunseeker’s Beach Club concept creates a waterside leisure area. The X-TEND sunbed system can change position to face either the sea or the cockpit, adapting the space to different activities.

A tender garage accommodates a Williams SportJet 395, with additional storage for equipment such as SeaBobs and paddleboards. These features reflect the growing importance of flexible outdoor living and access to the water in this segment.

Performance Meets Comfort

The Manhattan 94 is powered by twin MTU diesel engines, with engine configurations offering up to 4,000 horsepower combined. Sunseeker quotes a maximum speed of up to 26 knots, placing the yacht firmly in the fast-cruising category.

At 28.6 metres long and 6.56 metres wide, it combines substantial accommodation with a planing hull. Optional Humphree stabilisation systems are designed to improve comfort both underway and at anchor.

The balance is important for buyers who want to cover distances between Mediterranean destinations while retaining the space needed for extended stays onboard.

Positioning in the Premium Market

The Manhattan 94 sits in a competitive segment where builders must distinguish their products through layout, styling, performance and customisation rather than size alone.

Its full-beam owner’s suite, extensive outdoor areas and adaptable stern are intended to give the yacht a clear identity within the premium flybridge market. The ability to personalise the interior and equipment also allows owners to tailor the vessel to their preferred style of cruising.

The first hull’s testing programme and its public debut in Cannes represent the next stages in the model’s launch. The sale of the second hull before the first yacht’s public appearance suggests that interest has developed early, although sustained demand will depend on delivery experience, customer feedback and broader market conditions.
